Ordered a new project x 7.0 910 driver shaft last Tuesday through my pro he told them its for my 910 driver it arrived this morning with no adjustable end on them knowing you can't buy the end from anywhere why did they not send it with the end on now I have no driver till Friday and two matches to play before then

Don't see how it's Titleists fault. Your pro ordered a shaft and that's what arrived. He should have known to order the whole kit & caboodle should he not ?

Am I being a bit pedantic in asking why a pro would order a shaft from Titleist or is this an assumption on the OP's that it was Titleist?

I think the pro made a James Hunt of it.

You need to know what the Pro ordered.
If he just ordered a shaft then a shaft is what he'll get.
If he specified a 910 driver shaft and Titleist just sent the shaft without the adaptor then it's Titleists fault.
Either way it's Human Error - we all have to put up with it at some stage.
As long as the problem's corrected promptly there's not much more that can be done.

Can he not pull the adaptor from your old shaft and fit to the new one.....?

Not sure its that easy.......??
My mate does club repairs, reshafts, etc.....
He says the Taylormade adaptors arent transferable, tried few times to remove, on low heat, but cant get off
If the Titleist adaptor is anything like them, it may not budge.....??

I've seen a few shafts with titleist adaptor removed.

There was an error either in the ordering or the despatch, if a 910 shaft with all trimmings was ordered then poor job if not the pro messed up.

The price I will get on eBay for my old shaft with caboodle left on it will only cost me £20 to upgrade and yeah it must be a mix up somewhere along the lines never mind it will be here Friday

Your mate ain't doing it right or he doesn't have a shaft extractor.

They forgot to supply some full stops too ;)

Was the mistake Titleists or your pros? If it's the latter can't you ask him for a loan of a driver until Friday?
