Hi there

I am bidding on 2 Vokey wedges but am slightly confused by the descriptions.

What is difference between an SM54-10 and a 54-11? I know they represent the degree and the bounce, but why does the 54-10 start with "SM"? I'm assuming this stands for Spin Milled, but the 54-11 does not have the letters beforehand?
As well as this, I need to know what bounce would be best as well for the average UK golf course with relatively quick greens and great drainage (ie. superb fairways regardless of weather)

I play off a 9 handicap but still know very little.

Many thanks

Perfect, thank you. This explains a lot; however, why does 1 wedge state SM and the other not? That's my biggest question to be honest.

SM stands for Spin Milled - a process to increase the depth and sharpness of the grooves.
The non-SM wedge will have ordinary grooves.

Not quite, some of the older Spin Milled Vokey wedges do not start with SM XX XX... They just have the loft and bounce and then the Spin Milled saw blade decal on the corner of the back of the wedge.
