Titleist make the best clubs

Proofs in the pudding as it were mate, the worlds best golfers played their best golf with Titleist gear.....

I watched the worlds 1+2 go at it on Sky last night at St Andrews in 2000, Tiger was a Nike player but Im certain he wasnt Nike through the bag but Duval was a Titleist man, interesting though that Duval won the Open with Nike sticks though ;)

Its clearly a mental issue with McIlroy. However the clubs are part of that mental problem IMO.

Nicklaus at The Memorial said he'd discussed Rory's play with him. Rory stated it was Head only, though he's fighting an issue with hands getting too far from his body - pretty easy to see it too.

Absolutely nothing to do with equipment! Aside from putting maybe.

Fixed that for you :D

Agree with this.

It's like premium balls all pretty much react the same way these days but we all have our 'favourites' we feel more comfortable with, and if we're comfortable we're more relaxed, swing is less tense, results are better and confidence goes up, and the cycle continues......

I 'fiddled' with 2 'fitted' sets last year and a set of ebay........I struggled.
In between sets I pulled out the old mizzies with regular shafts in the garage and shot a PB for 2012 and my only h/cap cut last year afaik..................hmmmm strokes chin and ponders this weekends club champ final qual round:rolleyes:

Some good points made in this thread lads, even though I DO think Titleist make the best clubs I am firmly on the fence when it comes to clubs making that much of a difference to a pro level golfer. Same with the ball choice, I will try to keep an open mind!
