Titleist Fiitting - Kings Acre

I was the succesful highest bidder on Titleist 915 Driver in aid of H4H, I've had to wait 2 months to be fitted in, anyway, tomorrow I am to the Titleist Fitting Centre near Edinburgh.
Has anyone been there and is there anything I need to know prior to arrival?

I know a few who have gone- don't expect a plush Wentworth style or Ping Gainsborough style set up. Theres only 1 fella there and if he's 'on a break' just sit and wait.

On a plus side they have a zillion shafts and it should be a good experience-

Report back with details afterwards, always useful for anyone else.

Brilliant Paul, I've been fitted for Irons twice in the past 6 years. Graeme the fitter makes you feel at ease straight away, real nice guy with some good banter but very concise and confident in his method of fitting. I've never had to sit and wait, I was given a slot which I turned up half an hour before for and he gave me a bucket of balls to crack on with on the driving range (coffee machine too) there's a nice waiting room (bay with shutter down) with lots of Scotty's to browse and brochure's to wet your appetite.
The fitting experience is brilliant, make sure you wear your waterproofs as it can be a tad chilly but there are patio heaters fitted in the bay, once your cracking the lovely Pro V's you'll warm up
If you've spare time it's worth popping into the Kings Acre club house before/after as the food is excellent.
Enjoy your fitting, you won't be disappointed!
Ps It's expected that GM forumers carry the net at the back fence

I went to Kings Acre for a wedge fitting in September and it was a great experience! The fitter was very helpful and explained everything in detail to me. I'm a design engineering student, so am particularly interested in the tech behind things, so he humored me and answered all my tricky questions!

Great experience and well worth the trip!

Was fitted for my AP2's with Greame @Kings Acre , not realy much to know prior to arrival , hit a few balls and loosen up , Greame ( if you get him) is a brilliant guy dont be afraid to ask questions on anything ur not sure of ,,

IF you wana see theThe AP fittings go to youtube and search for them there mate

i had driver fairway and hybrid fitting last winter. excellent experience - graeme communicates the process well and is very thorough. my 'double' session ended up lasting just under 2 1/2 hours - absolutely flew by. loving the driver and fairway - still a little unsure of the hybrid - wasn't 100% sure i'd go for it at the time but had shop credit to waste... it's partially because i don't really give it a chance - when it comes out it usually goes like a bullet to be fair and feels much better than my trusty ping, but the trusty ping keeps making a comeback as it is very reliable.

I'm hoping the 'shafted' comment was a bit of a clumsy pun given your planned fitting as it is really a great cause (would be nice if it were not required but guess you could say the same of many charitys alas).
