Tiger Woods to return at The Masters

Personally I dont think its too bad a thing coming back at the masters. It's not the most accessibly of places for the general media, their fairly 'stuck-up' there (augusta national) aren't they.

If he wins, he'll have deserved it and christ, what an effort that will have been if he does (given everything). If someone else wins then, fair play, they won with him in the field and that's also a good thing. He'd be on the coverage no matter whats gone on also.

For me the masters is the best event held over there and I cant wait for it to start

Tiger is returning for The Masters, simply because he doesn't want to give up the chance of getting another major, in his quest to beat Jack's record. But it doesn't matter how many majors he wins now, he will never be a better 'golfer' than Jack, or for that matter, better than Tom Watson, Arnie, Lee Trevino or Gary Player.

Could you imagine Tiger giving Tony Jacklin a 3 foot putt for a half in the Ryder Cup, as Jack did. Tiger would probably have walked off the green by then.

No, the nay-sayers won't allow that, they'll still say the win is devalued. It will be 'Tiger wasn't at his best, or he wasn't ready, or the gallery got on to him, or the press wouldn't leave him alone'.

Come to think of it, coming back to a major as the first one and not winning all the excuses are lined up. First one back a 'nothing' event and not winning, it's a different story.

Tiger will win the Masters, he will be so focused after his time away, he won't be worrying about his affairs anymore as they are very public, he has a few more weeks to tidy up his game without distraction and Augusta, is the best place for him to come back, he wil be sheltered from most of the moronic shouts.
