I think most will know my own perspective on TW, suffice to say I am one of Bob's bruvvers too.
The Masters is the ONLY US Tournement I actually watch, mainly as it is such a spectacular course, but spoilt by everything American, and particularly those Moronic eejits that insist on yelling 'get in da Hooooole' for every Tee shot.
They are the reason most Yanks actually like playing in Europe, away from the inbreds.
The rest of the PGA US Golf I cant stand watching, they drive me nuts and particularly when the Mr One Eyed 'Ill look at the Camera cos its My Turn' Harmon is in the studio - does my head in.
As for Woods, - he will have to change UNBELEIVABLY over the next few seasons to even get close to me liking him, but I think the Kalahari will freeze over before that happens, so as far as I am concerned, he can crawl back to where he's been hiding, cos I havent missed him at all.
And - thats regardless of his personal life...........

It's a shame that when the stupid Yanks shout "get in the hole" at him that the irony will be lost on them.
I think you'll find that at Augusta at least the inane shouting will be kept to a minimum as the powers that run the Masters are funny about that and no-one would want to lose the chance to get a ticket for the following year by being ejected.

Totally agree with the harmon comment ive never liked him even when he was with tiger he likes to act the big man know it all and sky in general like to pussy foot around him like he is god.

It's typical "us" that we dont like anyone who's the best and I'm included. Happens in all sports from Steve Davis at the snooker when he won everything and Man U.etc. We always want an underdog to win. I'm the same, but when it comes down to the wire they usually do the business. just a thought.

No pleasing some people. Too much coverage of Tiger, wants control over what is shown (but without and sound less there be a shout of in da hole) and not a fan of the interactive coverage. Still you can read all about it in GM

Coming in cold to the Masters can't be a good idea - he won't be "Match Fit" so I can't see him doing well.

I like watching the masters, and I don't think the coverage is that bad.

I watched "Wonderful world of golf" with Dottie Pepper against Annika Sorenstam [sp?], circa 1996, last night - Dottie Pepper was an embarrassment to the game! Just as bad as Tiger, cursing, moaning, "God Damn" after almost every shot, made me want to turn it off.... but it was a 26year old Annika
Tiger picks up a lot of stick, on a previous program with Nicklaus everyone was shouting "go in the hole" and that was from 20+ years ago. It's nothing new.

I reckon Tiger should have done the decent thing and just got divorced, and continued to play golf!! he is not ill, he is just a rich man that likes to enjoy things!!
I hope he doesnt win the Masters, I hate his petulence and the constant coverage of him, even when he is just scratching his rear!
I find that with almost all pga tour events that the coverage is of americans, but then it is their tour and mainly to be aired there, even if that means Paul Goydos who is 15 over par and missing the cut is putting and Lee Westwood is about to shoot a course record, they'd prob pan to Goydos!!! sorry for the rant!

The Masters is special though coverage wise. On the official website they cover Amen Corner and you get to see every player through those holes rather than sticking to a fourball or two.
