In my opinion he should have come back at a low key event instead of the first major of the year. The whole media coverage will be dominated by Tigers return rather than the event itself.

The only surprise is that he hasn't come back sooner. So that's a grand total of four (Bay Hill, Torey Pines and two WGC events) tournaments he's missed.
