If he has nothing to prove, why is he coming back at all?

He wants to prove to the World that he can win again - he needs to prove it.

Otherwise why bother?

You can't discount what he's won - truly spectacular. But that was then.

Like I said earlier in the week alot of people may be eating there words when they said Woods was going to be shown how to play golf and could pick up some tips from Donald & Rory LOL

I really like Rory but Donald is just boring and will be relieved of the No.1 spot this year (Hopefully to Rory)

So how many of you put the (Woods out of the top 100) bet on???

Most likely NOBODY..........As anybody walking into a Betting Shop asking for this Bet, would have been Escorted from the Premises by the 'Men in White Coats' and put in a Padded Cell until they came to their senses........:ears:

I dont understand either
There are SO MANY Tiger Woods 'Haters' out there, on here, at work, at my club......dont get it myself..

He has his faults, like everybody, and at times his manners are appalling
But he has done so many wonderful things for the game of golf, and hopefully will be remembered for his Outstanding Golfing Wins and Achievements first and foremost

There does seem to be a polarisation of opinion about Woods. Whther you like him or not you can't argue with the performance this week to date against the cream of world golf with the top 4 in the rankings all teeing it up. Whether this will be the catalyst for him to kick on and win a major I don't know. If he can get his driving working then Augusta would seem a very good opportunity. I like watching any sportsman perform well and he's made some great viewing this week. As for his personal life, its exactly that. I don't care what goes on away from the course as long as I can enjoy watching him play well. Heck even the car crash golf last year in the USPGA had a morbid fascination to it

i think its safe to say he won't be out of the top 100 for the rest of his golfing days by the performance he is putting on just now.

i think if he keeps this up he'll be back in to the top 10 very soon and who knows, probably number 1 before we know it. :)

Tiger has been great this week. And is it just me or is the Tiger aura returning as well because to me it looked like Rory wasn't his usual swaggering self in Tiger's presence. I may have to eat my words but early doors yet.

Sorry to Disagree, but with Very Little golf under his belt in 2011.....Did he Not challenge for the Masters at Augusta......??
And on that note.... If Tiger woods teed off on the back 9 at Augusta, level for the lead, playing with any 2 golfers you care to name, I would bet a Large sum he would take them down.
Im not the biggest Woods fan in the world, I do enjoy watching him, but Im no fanatic
But his Masters record speaks for itself, he knows every blade of grass, as they say.......

Come on guys, tell me, Woods level, turning into the back 9, at Augusta, sunday night, any 2 players, who would you be betting on........???

Luke Donald.....the BEST golfer in the world

NO, Luke Donald is the Current World No 1........But NOT the BEST golfer in the World IMHO

Tiger Woods gave Luke Donald a Playing Lesson this week, and Luke infact looked to be a victim of the Tiger 'factor' and let him get to him, intimidated even
Luke is a Fantastic Golfer, and wouldnt have it said any different, But he will Never dominate the Number 1 spot the same way Tiger did, Tiger WILL get back to where he once was, write him off at your peril.....
