Tiger and Ernie to clash in the desert

Last year we saw a great final day at the Dubai Desert Classic, as Tiger and Els matched eachother all the way to the end, where Woods eventually won.

This year they are both back there this week and both playing well so we could be in for another classic Sunday battle between the two, considering they both want it.

I reckon Tiger would just have the edge because he just has that little bit more, but if anyone can give him a challenge it is the Big Easy.

Should be a belter. First time they've met in competition since Ernie said he wants to take Tiger's number one slot.

Don't write off mighty Dutchman, Robert Jan Derksen, too quickly either. It's easy to forget that he shot 67, 65 on the weekend to hold off Ernie Els in Dubai back in 2003!

Cant believe Darren Clarke was also 80/1 - wasnt that tempted though

Don't fancy Ernie at the odds but think he could have a good 2007
