Thrashed 7&6 by Craphacker and I'm angry..

Smiffy says he's got a £10 note and he's willing to take you on. Even my mate at work says he's got a chance. What happened to that silky swing I saw back in the Summer as you creamed it around my place?

I left it at home. Had 39pts with a blob the day before so I'm not panicing just yet.

I'm more concerned with my current lack of enthusiasm for the game,... hopefully it's just the weather.

Yip its amazing how much a tanking can damage your mental state!

I cant excuse the ladies NOT letting you through, but in all honesty, why would the Club let you tee off during 1. ladies Day.......or 2. A Ladies Medal ???? :D :D

Its just asking for trouble of this sort, and naturally, they get a bit sniffy about letting fella's through etc etc.

Our 'Ladies Day' is Wed 9-2pm, and Gents simply cant play, end of.

Whether that will change now the new equality laws have come in, I dont know, but I expect not.
We perhaps 'might be allowed' to play, as they 'might be' allowed to play on a Saturday, but I expect an un-written status-quo will go remain.

Why is there a 'Ladies' Day'?
Do you have an equivalent 'Men's Day' or are all your other tee-times open to everybody?

There are ladies days/sessions at swimming pools, tennis courts, gyms - I've never seen a Mens day (or a well man clinic).

Traditionally, and been the same for years.....
Wed - Ladies Day 9-2pm.
Sat - No Ladies allowed on until 2pm.

From now - who knows......but I suspect will stay the same, with both men & ladies being 'allowed to' play any day, but Wed becoming Ladies Competition Day, and Saturday - Mens Comp Day.

Why is there a "Gay rights" march in Brighton every year?
We don't have a "hetrosexual rights" march where everybody is allowed to go up the high sreet shouting "I'm not gay" so why do they get special treatment?

For the Hetrosexual one yes.
If you want me to hold your hand while you take part in the other one I will

The ladies had the tee from 8.45am to 11.15am, the last group of ladies had actually tee'd off long before 11.15am, apart from the 3ball in front of us who went out at approx 11.00am. They had no one in front of them for 4 or 5 holes when they tee'd off. We were waiting on the 3rd tee (par 3) for them to clear the green, we then played the 3rd and walked to the 4th tee... they were 50yds ahead of us, heads down, chopping along 10yds at a time. as someone said, "never looking in the rear view mirror". The same on the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th when they eventually stepped to one side and let us tee of.

Frankly I was disgusted and despite having a day to calm down am STILL disgusted.

Thanks I could do with someone to make me look handsome ;)

He does get a little fraught. I have to be honest and say 90% of our lady members are pretty good. The other 10% insist on waiting for their alloted medal times to go out even though the tee has been empty for the last hour and will tell you they are in a comp and so you can't come through.

:D :D :D

The women weren't actually IN the comp, the pro told us that before we tee'd off, and also the women were in the clubhouse when we finished (without passing us of course as we'd NEVER let anyone through!!!) :D :D

Weird that you'd say that to the guy who's gonna have to pull your weight on Sunday

Even Leftie has to get up to feed occasionally... if the drip runs out ;)
