In a similar vein I remember being at a company meeting when management was up presenting something.

Someone asked a fairly pointed question about what said manager was rambling on about and the manager replied...

"You are obviously listening but not hearing me"

to which the immediate response came back...

"thats because you are talking a lot but not saying anything"
