I mentioned the bit about his career because I had a gut feeling that someone on here might know him. It's a small world. I just would not like to hoover it.

I live in the village of Findon. This happened about 300 yards as the crow flies from our front door.

Very sad.

Off the thread a bit Snelly but what a lovely village Findon is. We stayed there last year in the centre of the old village near the two pubs and Indian. Loved it!

A shame we didn't connect the dots at the time as I could've met you for a beer or even had a round of golf. And yes, it is an extremely nice part of the world an a great place to live. Doesn't get much better than rural Sussex.

All of which makes me wonder somewhat as to why we've just sold our house and are moving to Yorkshire in a couple of months!

Didn't realise you lived there. Had some good walking on the Downs and there were some great pubs in the village as well as a good Indian Restaurant . Will definitely go back.
