I'll start with..
1) What is the point of the B final in rowing when the best you can achieve is 7th place?
2) Why in Judo, if you get knocked out at the quarter final stage, do you still get a chance to win a bronze medal? Essentially what seems to happen is the losing quarter finalists play each other, the two winners then go on to play the two losing semi finalists and the winners of both those matches both get a bronze medal which means the losing semi finalists could end up with nothing
