TV viewing figures just been released in the US for the masters.

Seems with Woods fav and the hype from his previous win, day 1 figures were up 22% on the prev year
With Woods fading away and not really contending over the weeknd, overall figures were down 22% on the previous year

Have heard a rumour that Darren Clarke is trying to get Tiger to the Irish Open at Royal Portrush. Don't know if they would be able to meet his expectations for appearance money but Darren is matey with Tiger so it might be true - or just wishful thinking.

The impact on coverage if Tiger did enter would be interesting.
