He’ll go for the free lunch and maybe play in the par 3 so his lad can caddie for him, but i can’t see him playing in the main event if he thinks he has no chance of winning it.
As the old boys always point out, it's long and hilly course, and a tough walk.
So if he isn't physically up to playing it, I doubt he'll enter the main event.
But I'd expect him to visit.
