The stigma of being caught cheating

They don't hit it far enough to find the rough, trees and rarely land in bunkers, they just plod softly softly down the fairways 150yds a go!

Wow, this cheating lark is more widespread and seems more consistent and common than I could have thought, is there any kind of pattern, age, term of service, area etc?

Hmm, seems its the pressure of being and keeping a Cat1 status, don't think I'll bother going for that now

But seriously, I was actually aware of someone being constantly accused of cheating at a previous club and guess what, yep he was a low Cat1, so, is there a case going by what has been stated by quite a few on here now, is the pressure of maintaining a Cat1 status that important to some they resort to cheating, after all, the same isn't going to really apply to keeping a Cat2, 3 or 4 is it?
