The rock & roll lifestyle of a pro

Also known to be a bit of a party animal in his younger days so can well imagine him doing this after some alcoholic refreshment!

A member of our place who works on the ET has told some great stories about him - very much the life and soul of everything. It appears he was brilliant at Medina behind the scenes.

Yeah he is definitely a party animal...gave all that up when he started to play pro golf...apparently.

PS: If that was the Westin Hotel in AD (which is adjacent to the Abu Dhabi National course where the HSBC is played) there are no sea views but if he was facing the course it would have landed around the practice area.

Why not ? Colsaerts has been known to do loads of pranks of the cuff.

There is no way it's not staged, the way they both run into shot, the way it stays in shot, the way the camera person who is supposed to be part of the jape doesn't get exited at all.

Its a set up and its obvious, surely there is someone here in marketing who will concur.

Knowing the sort of person Colsearts is I'm guessing it went like this

All of them sat in the hotel having a few beers and a giggle - Colsearts reckons he can hit a 3 iron out the window - the others challenge him , the get the video phones out and away it goes and the reaction from them all just shows that it's all natural and a laugh

I'm more interested in the being in a hotel room with Mel Reid angle ;)

WARNING - do not try try this unless you have been fitted for your hotel room.

On the flip side, do they not get a tad over-excited given that it's a professional golfer hitting a ball from a perfect lie through an opening a few yards away?

It's not as easy as it looks

I can think of better things to do in a hotel room with Mel Reid than hit a golf ball through a door/window!;)

He sounds a right laugh that Colsaerts, doesn`t he.
