The POSITIVE thing about lockdown is...

I realised today I can set the heating to come on a hour later as I shall stay tucked up in my bed for an extra hour (at least).

Realised as well this morning that I will not need to de-ice the car in the mornings. Must move it to where it will catch the sun later in the day.

Lucky you. Still working and have to defrost the car today and expect to do so tomorrow

Lockdown 2.0 has begun

Up, dressed ready to take the eldest to pre school

Twins asleep next to me

Plenty of little jobs to do over next few weeks

Have a planned op mid Nov anyways and would need 2 weeks off golf after anyways

So I'm only missing 2 rounds

Focus on all the positives

Good first day in lockdown

7 chicken madras portions batch cooked
2 big lasgnas made up
Lunch prepared with left overs for tomorrow
Veg and meat cut up for tomorrows evening meal .. meat marinating
Chicken cut up and frozen for next weeks dinner

Golf clubs washed and put away in my locker in the garage

Got to keep busy ..

It's good that we got a date for tiers to return. Even if in those tiers not much changes .. it's like a mental thing where you can see your days left to a holiday lol

First Saturday and spent about 2 1/2 hours hitting balls in the garden followed by a brisk walk around the local reservoir (similar distance to a round) so sort of keeping the routine ?
Lots of people out fishing. Lovely autumnal weather.

Just back from a walk with the dog over the woods...Nothing like a national lockdown to get people out! Loads of families/couples/groups of friends walking, riding bikes and on scooters! All being sensible about distancing, swerving to one side of the path as we did the same.
Nice to see.

We're back in lockdown here in Lombardy - The lass is stuck in France so i'm in near total charge here
Been out walking all my dogs today in tranches - including the two 13yr old jacks
Only folk around were families and other dog wardens - again keeping distance, mask up etc
Weather is supposed to turn so will do the same tomorrow - instead of golf (which is now back on here)

The local pub offering take-away and delivery service to the village!

Loads of people out in our local woods today, and many walking on the golf course. For those that want a walk in the fresh air, but not in the mud, there is always the cart path around The Grove. Plenty enjoying this too.

The downside is loads more litter. Everywhere.

The other sad part, is if it wasn't lock down, all these people using the local woodland, being out in the great outdoors, would be going shopping. The roads to the woods are not normally lined with parked cars.

Sounds delicious! I hope that some businesses will find it's something to continue with.

Me and my mates had our first Zoom night since the previous lockdown was relaxed - we played the online game Among Us that everyone has been going on about the last few months. Was actually a lot of fun. So I guess this is a positive! Next week Joking Hazard I think..
