The POSITIVE thing about lockdown is...

Currently not a great deal tbh.

Other than it makes me grateful that my circumstances are such that I can manage and cope with lockdown in a much more comfortable way than the very many who are much less fortunate than I.

I was really having a bad day when I posted. Am not normally so negative:oops:

When we have played golf you and S, both of come across as really positive/kind people and a pleasure to be around.

Think if we didn't have bad days in this period, you aren't feeling what most people are feeling, not spoken to one person unaffected by this in some way. Its tough for sure, the restrictions placed on our lifes are hard. For example today my wife was only allowed to go for a walk with one of the children, I wasn't, simple stuff like that is hard to accept for me.

Still only one ICU Covid patient and the proposed influx not materialising.

ICU in Almeria is full, and there's 3 Covid wards for those who aren't sick enough for ICU but need hospitalisation. The only deaths locally this week, sad when we diminish it by saying "only," are in the over 70's and have an underlying condition.

Moving house 3 weeks today. Our version of lockdown means I get to stay in doing the jobs, like packing boxes, I'd normally leave till last minute. As much as I'd prefer to be out in the sunshine(19*) sat having a coffee watching the world go by, I'm getting some graft done.
Moving far?

I have digitalised all the dvds I want to keep

Got 3 suitcases of dvds that my sister apparently wants to go through to see if she wants

Sweet not my problem anymore lol shelf space again

Nipped into McD for some breakfast at 8:30am... not been near a McDees in ages.
Anyways about 12 people in there picking breakfast of which about 8 were Deliveroo drivers.

If it was not for the gig economy, that McD would probably need lesser staff...

I'm always amazed at the number of cars queued up at the one in our local retail park, they block the road and probably have a long wait for service.

Well Dunelm (I'm sure other retailers) have adapted well to click and collect for lock down

We had something on click and collect

Also wanted to drop 3 suitcases at my sister's then pick up daughter from nursery .. all in on trip to save unnecessary journeys

Anyways you wait in your car. Can call them or check in using your phone .. give your order number .. car make etc and number plate .. deliver the item to your car

Perfect

Economy ticks over but in a safe way

More of this please

went down to our local Morrisons. it has a lot of shoppers... But if you look closely, it is Morrisons employees picking stuff for Amazon deliveries. I like the fact that Morrisons is using local shops for fulfilment rather than some big box delivery centre 100s of miles away..
