Not so much about the town's roundabout, the courses have to have sufficient space for fans, grandstands, practice area, parking facilities close by. A lot more goes into selecting venues than just if somewhere is a good course, why do you think old prestwick isn't in the loop, it doesn't have enough space

Personally I don’t see the land on the course as an issue. There’s another 18 holes they would have plenty of space. It’s surrounded by farm land for camping. Parking etc

However, it’s one road all the way into the course so it would be gridlocked. All the way from the m5 id Imagine
