The birdie on 18 was MASSIVE for Bryson. Huge momentum coming into today, a couple of early birdies while playing alongside Rory and he'll lose his head again. US Open has to be in his mind.

I doubt Brysons irons will be as loose as yesterday either , he will have worked it out
Faldo very much can't hide his dislike for him aswell, was evident in his comments. Couldn't even praise his tee on 16 without a dig at the hole before.
The pundits want a Rory win so bad. It's not Rory's fault mind that he is the golden boy in their eyes. However for that reason I struggle watching him with the sound on.

What happened to the Masters Breakfast show on Sky? It used to be fun with Howler and a guest taking on some of the shots from the day before with Rob Lee taking the Mickey, as well as going through the highlights.

Yeah is it just a golf channel show that sky have rights to these days? Probs saves them a bit coin to just show that rather than the breakfast show

Potentially the worst possible pairing for Rory, BDC will be happy to create a Ryder Cup style environment but they can't get caught in matchplay or make it an appendage-waving-contest. Conners actually will be alot happier and can come in under the radar. Think McIlroy would have relished a final pairing with Scheffler, whereas BDC will relish this pairing a lot more than Rory; and the margins are tight, a bogey - birdie on any of the early holes ties it up immediately.
Excited, especially as the hype has been delivered, but there's some apprehension. McIlroy winning closes out a lot of the 'noise' that surrounds the Masters and him, and ultimately is better for golf as the attention then gets to spread elsewhere. A BDC win increases his Saudi value and heavily impacts the golf political landscape.
As is the norm now for golf analysis, imagine the viewing figures for this will buck the apparent trend and will be huge.

That shot Mcilroy hit into 15 was almost identical to woods back in the day, even the wee twirl and walk after it

With it being The Masters I don’t think you will get that loud Ryder Cup atmosphere but also Rory in singles in the US has a decent record
Being in the same group but 2 ahead could be perfect- keep him just behind fir the front 9 and get him to start forcing it

Bryson was spotted at the range with 5 bags of balls last night. Was gonna be a late night for the big lad.
The scene is set for a fantastic Sunday. Rory is still going to have to go out and win this. Was looking like it could have been a walk in the park at one stage last night.

Yep, been pretty good in away RC match play singles. Took down a very good player in Schauffele last away RC even in the middle of that spanking. This crowd will be a lot less partisan here. Not a concern.

That's the thing Brysons short game was incredible , he managed that score even with loose irons. Rory needs to keep his iron play that sharp again because his putting started to creep some bad ones in. Bryson was finishing ridiculous putts, not just 18

If BDC can’t sort out the iron play that it’s going to be a struggle for him - it’s mentally tiring to keep battling for pars
I agree and don’t agree with this, Bryson for me is one of the most mentally strong golfers in the world, his mindset never seems to show weakness and for me ahead of Rory if things don’t go right.
I’m not bothered who wins tonight, 2 great players, hope they both play superb and goes down the last.

He has chilled out so much since his move to Liv. Constant high 5 with the fans. Takes the good lies with the bad. Dunno a careers worth of cash in the bank has made him just want to go out and enjoy himself. It's great to see
Things like signing a ball straight off the 18th for a fan will make that kids year

He also holed monster putts on the first and last which isn’t really sustainable. Rory has just been solid every round and he still hasn’t really holed anything of length except the chip on 2.
Thought Faldo was going to blow a gasket by the end with Bryson and his irons.
