Already been mentioned, the car park is nowhere near big enough, if you arrive after 9am you’re forced on to a grass section behind the pro shop or worst case you’re finding a parking space away from the course.

So went down for a meeting with the GM today

Had 3 main points to raise (no @Orikoru not ham egg and chips just yet)

1.Booking system issues
2.Finding out about course closures on my lessons (not at the club) rather than from the club .
3. Got asked to mention can we have an AGM to raise things

Got told the booking system is what it is, however he doesn't mind me booking 4 people to solve it as a work around. So that's a semi win

I asked for monthly emails with the calendar on, was told I can call to ask. Annoying but he did say once a year they will email out the big events (apparently got a big big event next year) so at least that will give all the pga events dates well in advance

AGM was a flat no. He will talk to members anytime they want. Fair enough I guess as we aren't member owned so I don't think we have a right to them

End of day a free cup of tea and extra hour charge on the car 🤣

@PJ87 it's a proprietary club, ultimately you suck it up or you move. At least you know where you stand 😄

To be fair apart from the food which is crap I'll take it if the only issues are the booking system really

(Bumped into the golf operations manager and he said he didn't want to put in an email but the system is shocking but they won't buy a new one)

It's a golfers staple! And they don't do it

Yet there is eggs, ham and chips on the menu in different items but ask for it together

"We only do that for societies"
Similar issue at my previous club - you could have chips with burgers or meals but you couldn't just buy a bowl of chips!
