What came first? The chicken or the egg?

The egg. Dinosaurs layed eggs a long time before the chicken even came along.

That's not even up for discussion it's a scientific fact. They even think some of the dinos had feathers and they weren't called chickens!

I was reading that a company have genetically modified chickens that have four legs. This is so the average family of four can have a leg each with their Sunday Lunch.

When asked what they taste like a spokesman said "We don't know, we haven't caught one yet"

Well...it would have been a form of chicken but not the exact chicken which gave birth to a mutated/evolved form which we now call a chicken. So if you mean the chicken we have today, the egg came first but if by chicken you mean a pre-chicken then it's a chicken.

What you have to think about though is: did a fictional entity create everything, but actually create everything inferior and then create evolution to,improve their design. BUT make his "children" (humans) inferior in so many ways to other creatures. THEN had a break on a Sunday.
