Saturday night having a few beers and you watch that. You are deffo throwing something at the telly. And maybe a provisional. Just waiting to hear the PGMOL say “ his hand was in a natural position “ 🤬
Try that 'natural position' on an unknown female in a pub next Saturday and see where that gets you. Slapped, arrested..........

I would not bet against your summary of the pgmol statement ☹️

Can’t help but think Rochdale fans have themselves to blame. If they hadn’t invaded the pitch would’ve been much less injury time for York to get a goal.
To be fair to the ref....there were supposed to be (a minimum of) 6 minutes of extra time.

Rochdale scored on 94.58 and the game kicked off again after the pitch invasion on 101.02....so in absolute terms the game should have finished 1 minute and 2 seconds later at 102.04.....the York equaliser went in at 102.17.....so just 13 seconds over the allotted time the game should have finished. Maybe the invasion helped loosen the focus of the Rochdale players (but then we all know a team is most vulnerable right after they score) but I'm not sure the ref added any additional time due to the pitch invasion.

VAR checked it too! Really was a bad day for VAR yesterday!

Pickford was chirping all afternoon, he even run up to the ref to complain about Taty putting the ball in the net after play had been pulled up and got him booked. Grass! 😂

No idea who the VAR ref was in that match but wasn’t great , especially with the handball, wonder if he bottled it because of what it meant in the bigger picture

“Books one but doesn’t book the other. There’s a lack of consistency…” said the pundit on Sky. Taken at first glance, and no doubt lapped up by viewers, it sounds like a reasonable comment.

Rubbish.

The guy who was booked had been niggling away all match, and probably overdue a booking.
