At the pub with a pompey supporter and the semi final is on. Of course my mate is rooting for city, when I casually asked him “do you think his dad supports them”. He then asked me what the hell I’m on about. I replied the city player. Do you think his dad supports them. He now thinks I am off my rocker and he hasn’t a clue what I’m going on about. I said the city player called Leyton orient. He honestly spat out his beer laughing. It now transpires that the player Ait Nori, I think the commentator is calling him Leyton orient. Time for me to go home

To be honest City got lucky, very lucky. I don’t understand Pep at times. That was not a formation I recognise in any way shape or form. As soon as the wingers came on the game changed. A worldly goal for City through.

It was a strange passage of play, the ref had his hand to his ear them made a gesture which both sides thought was a Penalty, Everton fans “celebrating”… turns out to be a goal kick! Cue reverse of fans celebrating… I just assumed the ball was already out of play before the handballI was confused how you got a goal kick from it, I thought it went out of play off his hand.
