Canada experimenting with "needs to be daylight between players" offside rule. Do we want to see goals like this given...

🍿🍿🍿
That’s worse than we have now.
The angle is very poor to see any daylight.

Just use a consistent point of reference a head or foot of both players.

Are we to take it that Utd fans now accept that Amorim shouldn't have been given extra time as per Fergie in order to turn it around? Can we add him to the list of Moyes, Mourinho, Van Gaal, Solskjaer, Ten Haag, who all lasted too long? Can the saying about Ferguson being given extra time so ........... should finally be put to bed? I mean, we've all loved the additional pain you've been through but..........😂

To be fair they did get rid of Moyes within 7/8 months!

Stuff like giving managers time is a myth. Especially these days and for elite clubs, which Utd are one of a handful in the world. Bayern, Real, Barca and PSG don't give managers time; you either deliver right away or you're gone. Same for players. It's the culture of winning that drives those clubs on. One of Utd's main issues since Ferguson left is they've acted like a small club and made excuses for players and managers that weren't upto it. Too much time, too accepting of second rate results. The fans should demand more.

Amorim should've been moved on in the summer as he clearly wasn't upto it. As someone said, he did a few good things by getting rid of toxic players but on the flip side, he was ready to bomb out Mainoo - a classy homegrown player. Carrick has done very well because he's just applied common sense and picked the formation that suits his best players. You could argue performances haven't been brilliant but to take them from bottom half to third in a few months is amazing 👏
