Hasn't De Zerbi just been sacked by Marseilles? Available but sacked for not performing. He might be the answer but it is making me smile a little.

Glasner has done a great job, loses his best player once, sometimes twice a season and then gets hammered when Palace have a blip 🙄. Would he work at spurs? I don't know but he might be the best option considering where Spurs are right now. No top manager will go there, they are too far behind for those guys. They want instant success, big budgets. That isn't where they are at right now

In terms of Frank. He still did an exceptional job at Brentford and I'm sure, at the right club, he'll do well again. I'd have him at Everton if Moyes moved on.

I was wondering about Frank getting another job in the Premier League. I wonder if Palace will consider him for next season?

There's definitely a distinct pandemic of manager sackitus going round the PL these days. Fans do realise there's only a finite number of well known managers available, and harking back to historical ways of playing doesn't bring progress

De Zerbi finished 2nd in his first campaign, being the best club besides PSG isn't too bad. Didn't quite match it this campaign I guess but they are still 4th. Did alright with Brighton, just finished his second season poorly. I think his style of play is something that's desirable for the club and the fans. Frank didn't really have that - it was like he came in, saw the team was 17th last season, and treated us like another Brentford in which staying afloat was the only goal.

There would be a lot of irony about Glasner complaining about his board at Palace selling players and not investing in the team - and then turning up at Spurs of all places. I can't see it being a good fit, personally.

I think I'd be ok with it being De Zerbi, but also on some level, I don't really care who it is anymore. I thought Frank was a good appointment last summer, and I was wrong.

Don’t think De Zerbi will get the job I would get a interim in and try for Poch would be my choice
I just think this would end in heartbreak. I feel he was quite lucky to receive a bit of a golden generation of players, like Kane who cost nothing, and the likes of Son, Toby & Jan, Eriksen, Dembele and Dele who all cost peanuts relatively speaking. Obviously a good man manager, and hiring him would improve the mood of the fans perhaps, but those expecting him to replicate what he did the first time round could be disappointed.

If all these managers believe in “footballing “ goalkeepers and defenders more interested in passing sideways and backwards than forwards long to initiate attacks, then boring dangerous football will continue and so will their bad results.
These managers are like suitcases on an airline ’baggage carousel, with clubs periodically snatching at them in desperation.
Clubs got more money than sense.
