Well, the Liverpool player did complain about Haaland pulling him back, so he got his wish.

But surely you just let the goal stand? I guess rules are rules, but the onfield ref seemed to see it all, and simply applied common sense. Until VAR intervened, and he had to change the outcome due to letter of law.

Think that’s the first time I have seen a decision that both teams disagree with.

I’m not sure why the ref changed his mind having seen the replay. He must of seen exactly the same with his own eyes.
