What is happening?
the ref seen it and played advantage.Well, the Liverpool player did complain about Haaland pulling him back, so he got his wish.
But surely you just let the goal stand? I guess rules are rules, but the onfield ref seemed to see it all, and simply applied common sense. Until VAR intervened
Every goal is reviewed by VAR.Bizarre, did the ref blow his whistle before the ball went into the net? I thought the goal would count if he hadn’t blown![]()
He could give the goal and still send the player off if he wanted to.Great game, really enjoyed it, even the bit at the end.
Just to put a bit of balance on the end, is it fair on Sunderland to ignore a Red Card offence?
What? He should send Haaland off for denying Man City a goal scoring opportunity!?So poor from Liverpool.
On top most of the second half then just retreat once we scored and just let City back into it.
the ref seen it and played advantage.
So if he sends one off he should send both off!
Or use sense and just do nothing and let the goal stand.
Nope, the sending off was for DOGSO.He could give the goal and still send the player off if he wanted to.
