If only everything was judged and looked at the short term

Wow, on that basis just how irritating did you find Klopp?![]()

The team through all those managers wasn’t great
True but I still think any manager in the world would put him in their side unless they already had an elite and settled midfield.
On the flip side given his age, as an investment I can see why you would want Liverpool to stick with a highly rated youngster and not a 31 year old. As good as he is, Utd should be lining up his replacement already, as they'll be a big decision to make regarding cashing in on him or keeping him for a few more years where he could decline and become nearly worthless. Seriously tough call....
Deliberately set up so he gets 2 yrs to beef up and improve then retrun back for a set figure.Yep the option is there with a decent buy back clause
He'll be rather upset when he's beaten up in the street and has his phone hackedNice to see Ronaldo is upset the Saudis are investing in other teams and not his so he refuses to play the last match despite being paid 1/2million quid a day !

That was a reply to you saying he has his swagger back93, 722 post says I didn't
Not one for the neutrals tonight
I read that and it was an interesting read. Especially the bit where it mentions a downturn in Saudi investment in sport.Nice to see Ronaldo is upset the Saudis are investing in other teams and not his so he refuses to play the last match despite being paid 1/2million quid a day !
That’s just really poor defending![]()
From what I heard on the sports news was that he didn’t like that other teams were investing more than his club. Yet he’s happy to rake in 3.5million quid a week in wages whilst complaining about lack of investment.I read that and it was an interesting read. Especially the bit where it mentions a downturn in Saudi investment in sport.

Cristiano Ronaldo's future at Al-Nassr is plunged into doubt after he is left out of their squad for Monday's Saudi Pro League game against Al-Riyadh.www.bbc.co.uk
Then I read this from the BBC where the Saudis have made a statement of intent to spend money on youth In Saudi sport.

Mohamed Kader Meite: Rennes youngster paves way for high-value sales
Mohamed Kader Meite signs a £25.9m deal to join Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal from Rennes, with Jeremy Jacquet potentially next out of the exit door.www.bbc.co.uk
Bottom line BBC once more giving two spins on the story. One there not spending, one they are spending. What it does state in the second story is that the Saudis want to invest in youth. The best young talent there is. If that is the case
1, Ronaldo is toast.
2, The days of past it players earning a serious wedge could be gone and the days of young players who have won nothing are making there way to Saudi.
I don't think you need to worry about looking down. Phenomenal season.I’d snap your hand off for a boring 1-0 win. Keep that gap away from the relegation fight
