Nice to see Josh Coburn getting some game time. Sadly, he was a bit of a walking sick note at times for us. Great player when fit though.

Growing up there, weirdly I’ve always had a soft spot for them! Financially it would be amazing for them.

VVDs best days are behind him , totally agree with that ,as someone has posted on here .
Unfortunately for VD so are most of the opposition forwards .

The buzz seems to be missing from Liverpool… yet they’re 4th. There’s some decent performances in the Prem this season but, for me, across all 20 teams it’s not been a season that’s blown me away.

I prefer this though to one Team dominating and everyone else whining it’s boring and they’ve bought the league etc.

Winners isn’t guaranteed, should be Arsenal but all neutrals are waiting them to implode and 7 or 8 teams possibly more still have a shout for some sort of European footbal, even the relegation spaces are not a done deal.

The standard of football may not be as high, but the games are more open.

Think I saw that they have taken 4 points from the last 15 available and they are still 4th (for now). That definitely indicates a “poorer” standard all round. (For a given value of “poor”).

It really is a strange league this year. A Bournemouth fan in the clubhouse yesterday before the Liverpool game said he reckons they need 3 more wins to guarantee safety yet right now they are 6 points off a CL place

VVD is making mistakes he never used to.!
This happens as you get older.
But if defenders make mistakes it leads to goals.

Nobody’s mentioned that VVD scored to get us back into the game!

I played CB ( long time ago) but watching your strikers missing sitters all day isn’t easy.
You know if you make a mistake your getting stick.

Has anyone mentioned Salah was abysmal again yesterday.
The forward line was shocking , they don’t seem to shoot when they should ( Wirtz especially) then try and pass when it’s just not on.

Giving the ball away is killing us atm.

Starting without a striker was a suprize
But we’re still fourth god knows how but the PL is very up and down atm.

Great entertainment but hard to watch your own team struggle.

No because I lived in East London and Millwall play in South London. (They moved from East London about 100 years ago) There was still plenty of Millwall fans on the Isle of Dogs but my family were all West Ham.

Sorry, when you said "growing up there" I thought you were from round there

I was, I grew up and lived in Millwall until I was 27 but Millwall FC left the area of Millwall in 1910. Moving South of the River to Bermondsey.
