But the point made by me was fans perspective of there big clubs, even though they have not done anything for a generation plus.
Depends how you are defining "big club". Leeds and Sheff Wed fans will see their clubs as big clubs. And, if you are comparing them to a generic English club, they are big clubs. They are massive clubs. Despite not doing much at the very top for years

Man Utd have been horrific for the best part of a decade, by many people's standards. Yet only been out of the top 10 once, usually been in Europe and won several trophies. By the standards of many other huge clubs in England, that still isnt bad. We are thay good, even Liverpool fans are saying we need to stabilise the club, simply by being mid table for a bit :)

Liverpool were a joke for 3 decades. How many generations is that? Still seem to have kept their big club status.

At end of day, it doesn't really matter what fans perceive. They support their club regardless, and just as passionately, whether they are fighting for the Champions League or whether they are fighting for a League One Play Off position

Define massive or big etc, some of these so called “lesser” clubs have fantastic history’s and should be rightly proud of it and celebrate it accordingly.

It doesn’t make them small, times change, they are just no longer competing at the highest levels.

I would of always called City a big club regardless of when Mansoor turned up.

Success doesn’t equate to size, ask a N’Castle fan.😇
I think that’s kinda my point, during the history of football all the teams mentioned were big clubs in a sense of winning things, and some with there following. but should we forget there history. I don’t think so. As you say Liverpool, are a big club but but went some time without winning anything, same with Utd now. Don’t even get me started on City 😖
I remember when I was a kid I went away with Mansfield Town to Huddersfield Towns ground. It was huge. Just googled it. Record attendance of 67,000. The Stags fans in that stadium were dwarfed. But would I diss Huddersfield. Not a chance.
PS, I wouldn’t Diss Newcastle either. 😀👍

So my take on Guehi.
City have been racked by injuries to what have been major players. Stones Diaz, Gvardiol Amongst others. We are paper thin in that position. If them three are fit happy days.
Stones is gone at the end of the season. Ake possibly gone. So we are left with young centre half’s. And they have been very very good.
So chuck in those two with Guehi and some of the others and City have a young defence That can be quick and solid for the next five years. A defence that has not cost a fortune. 👍
Clubs with academy’s full of internationals complaining they have no cover 😂😂😂 I would die to have the sort of non cover for injury at Rotherham

Not playing golf today, so decided to tune in at 11am to the Man Utd v Man City coverage.

Right from the get go, extremely animated Roy Keane slating Man Utd. More entertaining than most football games themselves.

In summary, he has some concerns about the decision making of the board :ROFLMAO:

Really enjoyable game so far.
Both teams having a go.
Few tackles flying in like a proper derby.
Dalot lucky considering some things we have seen this season resulting in a red card.
