Get another horse and track it down then.

We just accept the norm !
If we don’t try and sort it out ground root refs just won’t exist soon.
Have you ever looked at Rugby in any depth?

The RFU have increased all the punishments for those found guilty of abusing Referee’s either Verbally or physically, it’s a big problem in the game and is on the rise.

More 50% of Referee’s questioned why they were leaving the game at all levels gave abuse as the main reason.

It really isn’t the shining example we should be using as a stick to beat Football.

It’s Apples and Oranges.

I thought he did a great job at Leverkuson but I think the Madrid job came too early for him.

It’s probably the hardest job in the world and every little thing scrutinised.

I think to be a successful manager there you need to be super confident in your own ability
So Real have appointed the youth team manager who has never coached a senior side....he must be super super confident!!!

Pretty scrutinised in the PL

Would he take the UTD job ?
The crap that comes with that they couldn’t pay him enough.
Never say never though.

I think the Real job is probably the most scrutinised in the world.

I think the United job is one where managers can see a lot of potential and think they can be the one to turn it around,

And if they make a complete mess of it they still pick up a bundle once they get the push

No dought its society in general.
But the rules exist and players know it.
All sportsmen push boundaries but you need to uphold the rules.
Football imo is far to lenient but that’s just my opinion.

Look at the young UTD lad who got a red card.
Lots saying the ref should let him off with a talking to.
But he couldn’t really do that if booking another player for doing the same.
But imo it shows how entitled these young footballers are now.

The TNT Sports team are already speculating that Slot might be in trouble if Liverpool should have a couple of dodgy results and that has been emphasized by the fact that Alonso is now available!!!

Hans Christian Anderson has absolutely nothing on 21st century "journalists".

I was surprised and disappointed whilst watching some rugby recently. The ref was getting dog’s abuse. I know no one likes to hear, “in my day…” but you didn’t say anything more than “yes sir.”

So sad to see things slipping so badly.

That last sentence must be a kick in the nuts for the fans though.!

I think Rugby are trying to make new rules and punishment for this sort of thing.

Football just seem to accept it as part of the game

If a rugby ref sent a player off for abusing him then the rugby world in general would back the ref, if that happened in football the ref would get blamed

Agreed Bri, Rugby at all levels is having issues, some Refs at lower levels have been physically assaulted.

One very good thing the RFU does is publish their misconduct reports and the punishments handed out down to about level 5 I believe.
