Everyone’s entitled to their opinion, but he’s a class above the players you mention for me.

I first watched him first hand not long after he signed in a Europa League game, I think it was. It was very, very clear from that moment that United had signed a quality player. He found pockets of space nobody else in that side did, and his range of passing and movement off the ball was a huge step up compared with those around him.

The fact that everyone else hates him so much tells you all you need to know. I dislike his antics at times, and his constant chirping at referees, but he’s been consistently the best player at the club since the day he joined. And he never misses games - bar suspensions, that is.

Said it already, but we have seen glimpses that he can thrive with those now playing in front of him.

Didn’t realise only two Italian players have won the Prem League - any guesses which two ?
You sure about that stat as I can think of a few that were in winning squads.

Balotelli
Chiesa
Cudicini
Taibi
Macheda

So technically it’s 5 that have won the premier league. The only caveat being those last 3 were at a time when there was a limited number of appearances to be awarded a medal. So all 5 won it but only 2 got medals

Edit: in fact Cudicini won it twice and pretty sure it’s only one season he didn’t get the medal for.
