Liverpool watchers...how is Isak shaping up?

If we had someone to get the ball to him and create chances he is doing ok nothing more.

But Salah and Gakpo are not playing well.
So time will tell but we have another international break so might do us good but might not as they won’t train together for another two weeks.

Salah will be gone in the summer. The problem as I see it is that he appears to have rank over all of them and his actions and being there are holding the others back

Now I didn’t watch the game so I don’t know how it went but a week ago I said the only team at the moment that could challenge Liverpool was Chelsea. And I was told point blank that Chelsea were rammel.
So was it a one off performance or what.

You don’t half twist things to suit your own narrative! Nobody said to you point blank Chelsea were rammel! I and others pointed out they’re good but not good enough to win the league or challenge for top 2 at the moment as they’re to inconsistent and often overly reliant on one player.

I’ll say it again they won’t win the league! Because other teams are better and more consistent, they’re good and improving each year but they have a lot more losses in them than other teams at the top this season.

Palace beat them as well , does that mean they might win the league

I think Liverpool and Salah are in a position where City have been with David Silva, KDB, Fernandinho, Walker etc etc. when is/ was the best time for them to go. Sometimes City have got it right. Sometimes wrong.

You literally are twisting it to suit your argument! They beat Liverpool with a wonder goal and last minute goal. FairPlay they played well but they will not be league champions because of one win! One swallow doesn’t a make summer!

Are Palace going to win the league! Of course they’re not it football teams win and lose come end of the season Chelsea will lose more games than other teams.

Rather than me focusing on your last sentence maybe you should focus on the whole season ! And the other games Chelsea haven’t got results in this season to get a better rounded picture than one game !

Liverpool could have won that game yesterday.
We made enough chances but didn’t take them.

Chelsea have injury problems but when all fit they are a top four side imo but not Champions.

Will Big Ange remain in a job by November?

Mat Sels did his damnedest to help keep him in a job today.

Forest made it difficult for large parts of the game but, when a team has that much pressure and opportunities, eventually cracks will occur and in the end it was a comfortable, if not altogether convincing, win.

Newcastle are still not really firing on all cylinders, and are not really playing with the out and out intensity that they showed last season...perhaps that is deliberate on the part of the manager as we have more games to manage this season. Just on occasion though, this lower intensity results in the team coming under unnecessary pressure...especially when the odd pass is misplaced.

Still...5 clean sheets in 7 league games is nothing to be sniffed at, with only Arsenal and Liverpool breaching our defences so far (and Bradford if you include the League Cup).

Hopefully, after the international break we will have Wissa available for selection for the first time this season, which should give us a few more options up front allowing us to mix things up a bit and take some of the load off Woltemade....who scored again Mr Rummenigge.
