So why the uproar from Liverpool fans if they’d already planned for his departure? Not even remotely similar! They had been blooding a replacement in Bradley and signed Frimpong the moment transfer window opened. So they had a replacement lined up and signed way before the season begun, Palace have left it to the death and now look to have lost their star CB without signing anyone to replace him. You’re reaching there with that comment!
Think there will still be a little left
Adjusting for inflation?

Trent didn’t tell the club he had no intention of not signing a new contract 12 months before
Guehi has told the club
Not sure why Trent keeps getting dragged up , he has moved on , just like we have
Once a players contract gets to 18-12month surely you get them to sign an extension?Palace can keep him and then lose him for a free

It a fantastic sounding post, however. Once more words don’t relate to facts. They’ve done what now! I’m no Liverpool fan but they didn’t buy the title last 2 titles they won ! They haven’t won the title this season yet as the seasons barely begun!
Yeah they spent a fortune this season as have Arsenal but how is that comparable to being bought by a billionaire then literally spending all the money to blow teams out of the water from nothing.
Liverpool have spent years rebuilding their brand and owners have spent what they’ve brought in over the years and well within PSR. Something seems a little desperate and reaching in your comments to either justify your own teams past or to belittle their achievements! Either way that’s a little bit of a sour post![]()

Give or take a few quid.
so City didn’t spend loads and aren’t being investigated then no! We can go down that road so many times and you can throw what you want out but it remains your points just make you look bitter and Liverpool have stayed within the boundaries of PSR or what’s that you said great sounding words don’t relate to facts!!It a fantastic sounding post, however. Great news for Palace, player will get his move and this will do wonders for the fans in Croydon
Looks like the manager has won that battle and they will lose him for free now
Bet the player is gutted
Sky reporting that, as things currently stand, the deal for Guehi is off. Wow.
The real danger would be both leave at the end of the season for free. But the Palace fans will be happy. The manager will do a runner the minute a big club comes in , yet seems threatening to walk has cost Guehi his move despite the player acting very professionally
Well, he gets to stay at a club where the fans still appear to love him, and when he goes for free next summer he may get an inflated pay packet. Maybe even a few more big clubs interested, enticing him with big wages.

Maybe you might want to go back 10 years. They’ve done what now! I’m no Liverpool fan but they didn’t buy the title last 2 titles they won ! They haven’t won the title this season yet as the seasons barely begun!

Think I’m done with you discussing anything sensible regarding clubs spending just comes across like a typical city fan woe is me and we’re everyone’s 2nd favourite team
Have a good day![]()
Last thing I’ll say as clearly you can’t read!! I did not say Liverpool haven’t spent money, I said they didn’t buy the titles and I said they’ve spent within PSR!Maybe you might want to go back 10 years.

However you dress it up before you joined the forum 2 months ago. Liverpool fans were waxing Lyrical about the lack of spending. Even more so some took great pleasure in taking the moral high ground about spending so little. There’s clues in the comments/ jokes about the coutinho money being spent yet. There’s also a clue that the only forummer that likes your post took the moral high ground re Liverpool. If posting facts is a sour post it’s not me that has the problem.
Yes City spent money, if you read the link it shows they spent money
What you actually said was Liverpool haven’t spent money
Now it’s woe is me
Constructive, not![]()
