Well its been a great start to the season

Villa look absolutely broken at the moment, unable to bring anyone in due to PSR and sold literally all of our depth.

This system is flat out broken. We've made Europe 3 years in a row and seem to have a worse squad now than 2 years ago!

Make it make sense!

If the reported fee of £55m is correct, that's brilliant business by Brentford.

Absolutely....55 is over the top I'm afraid. The only mitigation is that we are paying half now and half next year.

In a way I'm glad. As good a keeper as he is, he can be a malign influence and we've had enough of them

That depends what they promise him

Pretty poor from both of them imo.
Isak is a fabulous player but I don’t like the way this has panned out.
I just hope we have put a transfer clause in so if he wants out and someone wants him ( real Barca ) they have to pay the fee.

Yeah you’d hope all 3 clubs involved will learn something from this.

The problem with leaving it to the last day is they might not learn anything.

But would think the contracts were drawn up in advance and a sign it or don’t bother.
For £125 million the contracts were drawn should be watertight.

Huge risk IMO, 23yrs old and has only played in the Belgian league. I wasn't convinced about getting Martinez either but in the circumstances I'd have tried for both, Martinez for the present and Lammens for the future. I worry about his confidence levels if he's thrown straight into the first team and things don't go well. That said it's a pretty low bar at the moment......

Seems a very ballsy to go with him with very little experience

Hopefully you do get Elliot as think that’s a good place for him to flourish
