I wonder what English league Kairat Almaty would be competitive in. And would that be about Celtic's level?

To the outside observer, Scottish football is truly abysmal. Long gone are the days I remember exciting Rangers and Celtic sides battling it out.

I suppose the money in the PL has killed a lot of the Scottish game, as less quality players want to go there. And it probably doesn't help when one of the Old Firm hits a decline, as the other don't have to keep their foot 100% on the gas

Celtic have been quite a decent footballing team over the last decade or so. However those days are coming to an end as they're on the decline and not making the CL will impact them financially.

But they will win the title with ease and that's the issue. Rangers need to get their act together as they're the ones that are really dragging Scottish football down. Sad to say it but it's true.

I wouldn’t disagree. The current board take the view that all they have to be is better than Rangers, and that dictates what they spend.

Interesting picture. Some very good business being done there by some and some *awful business by others! Goes to show how difficult it is.

*Though I suppose it's only awful if you have to rely on making profit on your players, rather than other income sources.

Arteta will be buzzing about that, another table they have topped, another league they have won :ROFLMAO:.

Definitely one for the accountants.
I imagine Saka is doing a lot of the heavy lifting in that table, since he cost nowt and must be worth at least £150mil in today's market.

United & Chelsea at the bottom is very funny though.

Talking about third kits yesterday and Everton have just dropped theirs. Always like a dark blue/black kit. Waves are a bit crazy, but I like to see a bit of craziness in a third shirt!

They've replaced the badge with nothing but a wonky shape?
Like a number of clubs, they have tried to simplify the badge. The tower is part of the current badge, they want to ease it in as the main thing as it is easier to replicate.

Newcastle are currently 'consulting' with fans to simplify their badge as well.
