I’m intrigued wasn’t it announced a deal was in place for you lot so how did Spurs finish 2nd in a 1 horse race to sign Eze 😂
I think he always wanted to join Arsenal so he'll have dragged his heels with us waiting for them to come back in with a bid. Not fussed, if he doesn't want to play for us that's fine.

How dare you talk sense. You should be outraged that someone who never showed any interest in joining spurs has joined another team
#sarcasm

Eze to Arsenal is the a great football story. Rejected at 13 by the club (and by many others), dropping down a level to play for Championship clubs, getting his chance in the Prem with Palace and becoming an England player and a standout player for us and now on the brink of joining the club who rejected him at 27, to play for a club with serious Premiership and Champion Leagues hopes. Gutted he will leave us, but the way he has played and acted has been class in the time he has been with us (apart from a little spell under Viera when they were obviously at odds with each other) and the fact he was one of the best players on the pitch at Stamford Bridge last Sunday despite all the speculation sums him up.

Just hope we get to see him again tonight at Selhurst under the lights in our European Debut. Not the competition we deserved based on winning the FA Cup, but its still a European tie and something I never ever thought i would witness when I first watched a game at Selhurst in 1986 with around 4500 other people as we lost to Hull City 1-2.

Just clearing the throat for 90 minutes of singing the praise's for UEFA and how they are such a fine up-standing, honest and fair organisation and then lauding one of the most naturally brilliant footballers we have ever seen in a Palace shirt.

SE25 under the lights in Europe.

We had him in our academy and lost him to Millwall. Amazing they didn't even offer him a contract after 3 years and he had to work his way up via QPR and a few loan spells.

Could be right @Tashyboy .

I also saw an interesting stat which stated that after their latest sale, Chelsea have sold £250m of players in this window. That's huge. They've spent more but most of the spending has been covered this time.
