It reads how it’s says - we are not a state owned club and not held up by someone’s personal money

Most of the clubs Income is the same as all the other clubs - prem money and CL telly money , the club sponser standard charted and now adidas 🤷‍♂️

You do know Standard Charter were fined £1.1bn for money laundering and a further £300m to the EU to defer charges of handling money for a terrorist organisation… are you happy to be associated with sponsors like Standard Chartered…?

Tino leaving would be worse than Isak going. Tino is the future, part of the foundation of a defense upon which all great teams are built. Isak is simply a ship passing in the night, as many strikers are.

Striker = gunslinger for hire
Defender = good town sheriff
I can’t see there’s any chance he leaves Newcastle for City.

Odd thing is I was singing Newcastles prises just over a week ago. I thought if they had a chance of getting Trafford they would be challenging the top four. In that time City sign Trafford, Isak could be on his way and now Tino is in the news.
Ave said it before and I will say it again, if Newcastle were allowed to spend money am sure things would be massively different.

I'm not sure that having the owner of Forest front and centre, making statements about players etc really backs up the claim to uefa that he isn't involved in the running of the club. Not the smartest move.

I wonder if any other club might write in for clarification at some point.........🤭

Heh heh. 😝

There’s a big difference between an owner being visible and being operationally involved in the day-to-day management of multiple clubs, which is what UEFA actually cares about.

Marinakis has every right to speak publicly as the owner of Nottingham Forest — just like many other club owners do. It doesn’t automatically mean he’s violating UEFA’s multi-club ownership rules. The regulations focus on control and influence over key decisions across clubs competing in the same UEFA competitions. Forest and Olympiacos have already passed UEFA’s multi-club scrutiny before, so unless new evidence shows otherwise, it’s all just speculation.

And as for ‘writing in for clarification’ — any club can do that if they want, but if they mention Forest/Marinakis by name they’d be asking UEFA to investigate something that’s already been reviewed and cleared.

And if UEFA sent an email to Marinakis, he’d make sure he checked his inbox. And he’d meet the deadline they gave him to respond. 😉

I'm not sure anyone actually believes the above. It comes down to whether another club challenges them and raises it to uefa. Do Forest really want uefa investigating more closely!

The owner isn't going to be quiet so I suspect we will find out over time 😄

What amuses me is the way everyone who isn’t a Forest fan continues to underestimate Marinakis. I know he’s a pantomime villain to all. But he really isn’t as stupid as people want to think.
