All set up ready for their pre-season (not sure City will actually have an off season this year, to then have a pre-season, but you get the gist). No messing about with the season under way and new players and staff still coming in.
Guess it’s because they have the Club World Cup soon and getting players in place for that
It's still impressive organisation. They clearly had a plan set out, their ducks lined up. It's what all clubs want, they are pulling it off.

It all seems rather pointless the closing of this early transfer window. Clubs can still do transfer business, sign players and so on, but just can’t register them until the next window opens.

One of the biggest under the radar signings that City have done is 2 x back room staff signed from LiverpoolCity quietly going about their business, 2 in and 3rd lined up. They seem to be very effective at doing this, doing their work early. No huge figures either.
Clearly, Everton are still working on their masterplan

Mmm...a rather disjointed first half. Senegal more than good value for the current scoreline and could arguably be leading.
Eze and Saka largely anonymous. Henderson has made a few good stops but the defence looks lethargic and the midfield isn't offering enough to help beat the Senegalese press.
Crowd very quiet...maybe needs MGW on the pitch to wake them up.
