If there are any issues with work rate or attitude, Cunha only has to look as far as Rashford to see what the outcome will be.

I don’t think there will be too many concerns on that front.

There is no hiding when it comes to playing at a huge club - players are in the spotlight the minute they put the shirt on

I think he has the arrogance to do well - just interesting to see where he plays

He will doubtless be earning a pretty penny at United, but he would hardly have been in the poorhouse wherever he ended up.

Do you not think it even remotely possible that a player can sign for a club in United’s position because they want to be a part of a project to rebuild that club after a decade of decline?
Clubs like Forest, Villa, etc weren't exactly in a great position that long ago, no Euro football, etc. Those types of clubs were still able to attract very good players, and as a result can rise up the table.

But apparently Man Utd won't be able to attract decent players because they are not in Europe?

Any club in the Premier League will be able to attract very good footballers. The clubs just need to ensure they bring the right characters into the club to make it work.

All depends on the motivation of the player. But, at some point you'd think Utd will improve, and have some pride in how they play. If you are a key player in the eventual rise of Man Utd, you'll probably end up worshipped around the world by the global support. So, if you are a decent player and think you are capable of improving Man Utd, that seems like a decent incentive to me.

When City were Liddell, players only went to City for the money. Now Utd are liddle, players are going for a rebuild. 🤔

In fairness, City were paying unbeatable wages at that time.

I doubt Utd will be. If City, or a few other clubs really wanted a player, I reckon they could still offer a higher pay packet than Utd at the moment?

City will always be little, Tash 😉

But in all seriousness, you can’t think that United under Ineos are going to pay new signings anywhere near the sums City paid when they were transitioning from little to moderately sized?

Good signing for Brentford that. Said it before, always rated him.

What’s the GK situation at Liverpool now then Arthur? Marmadashvilli coming back from his loan spell - will he be happy to play second fiddle to Alisson? Or will he go out on another loan? If so, who will be second choice?

Think 🤔 that Marmadashvilli is coming in to be back up and play all cup matches etc

Think it might be Allisons last season

But if he goes out on loan then there is either Jaros or Davies for back up

It’s a difficult one Billy. Utd have spent a small fortune the last two seasons and gone backwards. The reasons for that have been done to death on here. Hopefully Utd have hit rock bottom.
I wouldn’t expect INEOS to Sanction large sums because bottom line they don’t or won’t have the financial clout that City had when Shiek Mansoor turned up. We definitely had mercenaries turn up solely for the money. The same way today’s players go to Saudi and play in front of a few thousand fans.

Same as playing for city then 😂😉
