This is good to hear. I've got a soft spot for Reading and hope they can get back somewhere near their former higher levels.

(Did a FC25 manager career mode with Reading last year - Kelvin Ehibhatiomhan, Charlie Savage and Harvey Knibbs were all absolute ballers for me! 🤣 Femi Azeez too, but he's gone to Millwall now hasn't he?!)

Cheers! Would be great to get back to being a top Championship club and actually try to realise some potential. Always felt in the past we were happy to get into the PL and go back down. We never invested and tapped into the potential. That's a long way off though, we just need to get out of League One as it is a graveyard. It's fun for a bit but going away to grounds that hold 5,000 to 10,000 with no atmosphere gets depressing after a while. I'm sure you know from past experiences and you're a lot bigger club than us!

We've sold more season tickets in 5 days than we did upto August of last year, so that's a positive too.

Haha, I wish Kelvin was that good in real life. One of those players that isn't a striker or a winger at the moment. Doesn't quite fit in but has talent. Savage is class and so is Harvey Knibbs. Knibbs has been linked to Derby so hopefully we can keep him. Azeez was a baller, proper inverted winger who would've got a load of goals and assists if we hadn't sold him on deadline day to Millwall! He went for £1.1m too, peanuts compared to his real value.

I agree, he's taken over from where Jurgen has left off perfectly.

Powerful stuff being Liverpool manager and having the fans fully in your corner.

There aren’t many managers the fans don’t back if they act in a way befitting the club

There has only been one that didn’t connect with the fans and that was Hodgson

Isn't that statement true for all fans?

If a manager comes into a club, and acts in a way "befitting to the club" in the opinion of the fans (whatever that means to them), then surely the fans will back that manager by definition?

Sorry I should have worded my question better, is anyone showing it for free like the Man Utd v Spurs game?
