Quite a crazy game in Milan where Inter drew 2-2 with Lazio, meanwhile Napoli ground out a 0-0 with Parma. The title race swung back and forth but it reminded me why Italian football is second rate.

The sheer amount of time wasting, diving, cheating and faking injuries is unbearable. The refs love the drama and you see red cards on the bench on a regular basis. It's just a backwards mess.

A shame as there's some very good players there. Napoli played for the draw and got very lucky with the late Lazio leveller. They take a 1 point lead into the final game.

I've a season pass with 1 Football for Serie A. Watch it every week. It certainly isn't what it was when Ronaldo (Brazilian one) and Zidane were playing. I'm hoping Napoli win the Scuddetto as opposed to Inter I've a soft spot for the city.
You're right about the refs, they give everything slightest touch is a free kick. You can see why Mourinho got sent off as often as he did.
 
Listening to good old talksport and they are talking about it’s not fair on other teams that the likes of Brighton , Chelsea etc have played Liverpool whilst they are playing weaker teams etc after already winning the title

It takes me back to the year Allardyce I think it was but in an official complaint that we played a weakened team before the CL final and his relegation rival played us and won

It shouldn’t be about fairness and a team shouldn’t be relying on single games to help their season

They have 38 games to avoid relegation etc

If United miss out on CL then I have no idea how they bring in the squad needed to suit Amorins set up

Even with CL it’s going to be tough as they are still limited financially
 
Just can't get behind the spuds winning. Not because it's them but because I can't stand the deluded Ozzie. Can't have him winning

I think the Arsenal drop off is exaggerated by the failure to buy a striker in the summer and January, and ending up with no fit strikers. To me the squad appears stronger than last year bar that position.

Whilst it seems popular for Arteta to get the blame for not strengthening the statement from Kronke implies he accepts the club need to do better and back the manager.

Of course they will still probably only buy 2 midfielders.

I said many times when you didn't spend 50 million a window with MP your club would move backwards because they didn't improve on what you had. Squads age

Has anyone really ever replaced dembele? Others have been replaced but he was so good

By shifting the deadwood?

The club have apparently as good as done a deal for Matheus Cunha, and have spoken with Liam Delap. I’m not sure the picture is quite as desperate as some seem to be hoping for.

And players will still want to be part of a long term project, much like when Klopp began his Liverpool tenure.

How much is the dead wood going to raise

Club not far off PSR issues and significant debt -

Need wholesale changes more than Cunha and potential like Delap

And a manager like Klopp had significant more appeal and standing than Amorin

Some of the deadwood will either raise a significant amount in transfer fees, free up a huge amount in salary payments, or both. Rashford and Antony are almost dead certs to move on, along with a few who are out of contract.

And it’s not just about Amorim. I accept a lot find it hard to stomach, but the pull of Manchester United as a club is still huge.

Yeah the pull of Man Utd will always be there but it does wain a little as we found out for a while and also depending on wages

Rashford will of course be pure profit but got to be a hit on players like Antony , Sancho who cost significant money

May have to sacrifice players like Garnacho and Mainoo
