It always staggers me how much Bob Paisley is disrespected in these

14 trophies in 9 seasons

6 league titles

3 European Cups

3 League Cups

UEFA Cup and Super Cup

His record is superior than a good amount above him
Probably all managers of big clubs with loads of money. What about managers who get a promotion with a young squad, no money and have to use their ability for limited success?

Thank goodness.

Interesting what the colorectal professor says about it being incredibly hard to diagnose in the early stages.
I bet there are some people on the Forest medical staff feeling very guilty. I'm sure it was something very difficult to diagnose, but bet they'll be questioning how they could let a player continue who was in clear discomfort, with what turned out to be a serious internal injury. The collision with the post was sickening, and you wonder if someone on touchline should be reviewing that, and informing the medical staff how serious the injury could be potentially (as they may not have seen it). Give them a bit more info to help with potential diagnosis.

Possibly a good job it didn't happen earlier in game. Had they let him stay on, based on player saying he was OK, it is scary that he might have deterioted rapidly on the pitch whilst game continued.

Plenty of managers from before money became a big part of the game

But when talking of the best ever - it’s those that win the big trophies

If it happened earlier in the game Forest would have had subs left to use

We have seen player smack the post and then carry on

Hard for the medics to judge how serious and you need to use the player as a judge

If he tells them he feels find to carry on then without any visible signs then it’s tough what to do - which I think is why they made their last sub because the indications from the players were all ok

Is it? Why are they better managers just because they are at a club with more spending power?

That list is full of managers that were at the top of the game and at top clubs before the money became key

But a top club even with spending is going to want to have the best manager available

It’s not just about buying

We have seen that plenty over the last decade where the team that’s spend the most is currently 16th or 17th in the league

If a manager is that good then they get the jobs with the big teams

Yes I think your adrenalin tells you are ok, but he obviously wasn’t.

Not a very inspiring list. I guess Salah will walk the main prize. Young player, I'd maybe go Rogers? Or Gravenberch.

Really hate seeing players in young player and player of year. Also if someone's been playing more than 1 full season they shouldn't be allowed to be in young player of a year cat.. IE Palmer ... Saliba

Saliba is 24, I think the cut off for that is way too old. It should be maximum age of 21 on the first day of the season. But we say this every single year, so obviously they've no plans to change it.

24 is ridiculous, that's not young that's approaching the prime of your career

Oddly enough, I think most Forest fans wouldn’t have him as their (Forest) Player of the Season.

Reckon the popular shout would be Milenkovic. But you don’t often get defenders winning these sorts of awards I guess.
Out of the six MGW for me.
Youngster Gravenberch.

That’s my problem with goalscorers getting it for scoring goals !
They get the golden boot for scoring goals.🏆
Keeper gets the Golden Glove.🤚

As you say defenders stop goals but that’s not counted the same as scoring. No trophies for that 😳
Should be a stoppers award even it out 😂🏆
