Trent has been a massive player in our success over the last 8 years

Yes it’s disappointing that he is going but doesn’t deserve to be booed
He has, and he has received plenty of praise and support throughout that time.

The debate should really be with the many Liverpool fans booing him, to understand their view. All I am saying is that I expect that reaction from fans of any club in such a situation. Not all, but a significant enough number of them

What a weird day. Guaranteed European football for next season but what a weird end to the game. Probably don’t deserve CL if we can’t put a terrible team like Leicester to bed.

Marinakis throwing his weight about in public was embarrassing too. I get he’s passionate but ffs, save it for behind closed doors.

Relying on favours from Spurs or United now which is like relying on my two year old to go 24 hours without a meltdown.

Still, up the European Reds.

Been watching this game, and I'm clearly paying close attention. Have just looked at score on screen, and noticed Arsenal have had a red card. I didn't have a clue that happened.

Feel like Chris Kamara

There’s a world of difference between booing a team for serving up utter bilge week after week, and booing a long serving player because he’s decided he wants to move his career in a new direction.
Perhaps his delaying his announcement and they know he was offered much more money to stay and sign a new contract rather than leave. Couple that with the antics of RM's players in recent matches and it's easy to understand why so many haven't reacted in the same way they have done to players in the past who have left the club.

I don’t see villa winning both to be honest, home against spurs maybe but away at United never goes well for us.

Even the last 2 seasons when we’ve been flying, we just never win at United 😂

We will go up, cling on and concede in the 89th to an academy prospect who no ones ever heard of or a returning player from injury or something rubbish like that. - always the way

CL qualification still all up in the air. Arsenal showed they have teeth today incoming back against Liverpool, so Newcastle wont find it easy next Sunday.

In all honesty, Chelsea and Villa should both polish off their Friday night matches against two sides who will surely have their focus on the EL final? Who knows which City will turn up against Bournemouth. You could easily have the final day of the season kicking off with Newcastle, Chelsea, Villa and City all on 66 points....and if Forest emerge from their slump against West Ham then they could be on 65.

Its going down to the wire....maybe we will even see multiple changes to the qualification places in the last 20 minutes of the season.

I think Forest have lost it now

It’s no longer in their hands and it’s very tough for Villa but they may just scrape through depending on Chelsea

Think Newcastle and Arsenal are there

Hopefully mate! 😂 won’t hold my breath though. 😅

That said, it would be very Forest to struggle to hang on for a point against a terrible team like Leicester, only to somehow win the last two and actually end up with a CL spot.

I’ll take Europa league any day of the week though. As I’ve said, my only desire for CL at this point is being able to keep more of our core squad and attract some marquee signings to improve the squad.

I also think we’re done, except mathematically.

Sadly we don’t have the squad depth to carry us over the line. Big summer incoming!

Still, now we’re guaranteed European football, we’ll be playing with less pressure so may end up getting results against West Ham and Chelsea and see what happens 🤷🏻‍♂️

Thought we sat back to much and let Arsenal have the ball to much.
With a quality side that’s not good imo.
Martinelli just walked past VVD for his goal it’s like he didn’t see him.

But think we had enough chances to win bit wasteful upfront.

Arsenal deserved a draw imo they just badly need a proper CF.

Disappointing result but European football in one guise or another confirmed for Forest so I’m a happy man. 🎉🥳

Think Villa will get one of the spots and it’ll be down to us and Chelski for 6th/7th.

Marinakis thing was a storm in a teacup. He was a bit annoyed about the Awoniyi injury, he wasn’t having a go at Nuno for the result - despite everyone speculating and clamouring for there to be more to it. Especially that little rat Neville, who is on Twitter advising Nuno to go and negotiate his exit. 🙄 If I was him, I’d get Marinakis’ name out of his annoying mouth. It didn’t end well for him last time he took him on.

But anyway, thoroughly proud of my boys this season. Anything higher than 7th at this point is icing on the cake.

Why was the owner coming onto the pitch , it’s not his place and has crossed the line before

It’s not a good look at all for him to be acting like that - ask the questions behind closed doors - deal with it professionally, it’s always going to get a negative response if he keeps acting impulsively in that way

At what point is Artetas job under threat?

If Arsenal lose today (currently 2 down) and lose to Newcastle they’re likely finishing 3rd… zero silverware again this season.

Artetas spent like 700m too. This is his team.

Just cannot comprehend it, it’s mad that he’s not having his head called for IMO.
As dislikable as Arteta is it’s pretty harsh to suggest he hasn’t done well when he is made to live with Man City and Chelsea rejects for strikers.

The first of the Barcelona game was mad, 6 goals and Barca missed a load of chances too. Such a shame they're not in the CL final.

Just 15 more goals for Bowen in the league and he will overtake Antonio for top scorer. Such a talented player.
