The last couple of pages of this chat sums up a lot of the stuff that’s wrong with football.
I’m not criticising anything anyone’s said. I’m talking about the chat surrounding Forest, in which people are (correctly) pointing out the potential pitfalls and poisoned chalice of a club like ours getting European football.
I mean Christ…..European football was a million miles off for Forest a year ago. And the fact that we’re in with a good chance of getting it now should be something amazing. There should be no negative connotations associated with it.
But seemingly there are. And that’s what’s utterly s*** about the system. The whole idea of “Yeah ok it’s good, but……”
Whether we can get over the line and get CL, or we end up with one of the lesser European competitions, or none at all, it’s been a bloody hell of a ride and the best and most enjoyable season of my life supporting Forest.

Ok, apparently Kane was ready to do a John Terry and come down from the stands to celebrate on the pitch but they received a last minute equaliser.
Now mathematically they have to wait until they gain one more point, or Leverkusen doesn’t win a game, or Leverkusen doesn’t catch up the 30 goals difference over the remaining matches.

I do hope Thomas Frank isn't persuaded to swap clubs in the summer, you know he's going to have offers. I really is good to see a team like Brentford doing well and playing some nice footy.
