Because a team ( any team in any league) that finishes fourth from the bottom any league qualifies for he Champions league.Seems like a deflection tactic here, although not sure why as nobody was talking about Man City today
I don't see the connection. How are Utd ruining football by being ramnel? They are ruining it for Man Utd fans, but plenty of other clubs are taking advantage and loving it.

But at the end of the day. Utd or Spurs could be looking for players to either be playing in the Champions league or looking for players to fight a relegation battle next season. Why? Because UEFA are looking after teams that are failing in there domestic leagues.
You’ve lost me, Tash. How would United or Spurs be ruining football by qualifying for the CL via the Europa League if they finished 4th bottom of the league? It’s a legitimate route into the bigger competition.
They may be viewed as lucky, undeserving and so on. But I fail to see how it ruins football.

Spurs and United have a chance to qualify through Europa - it’s got nothing to do with their league positions

In all honesty, how can it be remotely possible that any team from any league be able to qualify for the champions league when finishing fourth from the bottom.
Because UEFA Say so. It’s a classic case of rewarding rammel.
From Utds and Spurs perspective, they finished 8h and 5th last season which entitles them to play in a second tier European competition. And if they win it. They play champions league football next season.
You are right it is a legitimate route into football. But a deserving route, we can beg to differ.
