Why are we going on about an incident that happened ages ago. Officials make the wrong call at times, including VAR. I don't see the point in dragging up wrong decisions of the past after a decision they get right in the present.

On another note, Wolves have been poor at Old Trafford today. But, Utd as expected, are simply useless at scoring goals. So, of course, Wolves eventually get a free kick and score a worldy.

I genuinely hope the board don't waste time trying to get new keepers or defenders in the transfer window. They need to go on overdrive to get players with some personality and confidence in attack. Relying on far too many kids.

That being said, thought Amass did very well today
Spot on 👍🏻

My thoughts on events at The swamp under the tenure of the Glaziers and Scruffy Jim are well known.
And it’s not having a dig, but the way things are outing at the Swamp. They could be one place above the relegation places at the end of the season but playing in the champions league next season.
What is even more astonishing is that the spuds are in the same position.
Talk about rewarding rammel, and yet it’s City that are ruining football. 😳

The way you attempt to make completely irrelevant comparisons is astounding

Have to say I agree with you on this, Phil.

Man City’s travails owing to alleged PSR breaches can in no way be used to draw any sort of comparison with either United or Spurs qualifying for Champion’s League football despite being dreadful for a league season.

Try as I might, I can’t see any sort of connection between the two issues.

If Spurs or Man Utd qualify for the CL then that’s rewards for winning the Europa - league form is irrelevent and how its running football I have no idea

You’ve got to take into account that it’s Tashy (no offence Tashy).
He doesn’t take himself too seriously.
Just likes going on a mad ramble every so often.
He spent a lot of time underground don’t forget 😉

Seems like a deflection tactic here, although not sure why as nobody was talking about Man City today :ROFLMAO:

I don't see the connection. How are Utd ruining football by being ramnel? They are ruining it for Man Utd fans, but plenty of other clubs are taking advantage and loving it.

That was rammel, but as we all know, the league has long been irrelevant.
It's all about Europe.
The league is all about looking at one or two of the youngsters.
Amass and Fredricson looked okay, especially Amass.
Not sure I've ever witnessed a Premier League game that felt so much like a pre season friendly.

@Bazz remember when this season was stressful? Now you are gliding up the table, worry no more 😄. Feet up, enjoy the rest of the season 😊

I'm not going to call out anyone that said we should keep O'Neil....

I could see no other outcome when I walked out of Goodison when you bent us over, VP has been a breath of fresh air. Optimism is up for next season, but I can see us losing a few.

Hand up - I thought O Neil is a good intelligent manager and did well initially with Wolves and thought they would get through a bad patch with him and be safe but clearly making the change was the right choice

Fair play. There was nothing there after the initial bounce, and he was given plenty of time to show us something.

We are another who will see some hefty changes this summer, all loanees will be going back and a decent number are out of contract and won't, hopefully, be offered extensions. The joy for both of us now is that the clubs can plan for next season without the stress of a relegation fight. They might not get everything right but at least they will have clear minds making those decisions. The managers won't be mentally fried either, which helps 👍
