Liverpool well deserving of the title,but jeez the standard at the top is as bad as I’ve seen in the prem.

The ironic thing is that Liverpool have been the standout team in a rammel premier league. And the last time a team was standout in a rammel premier league was Leicester. Yet when they won. Accusations were the top 4 or five were off it so it kinda took the gloss off Leicesters title charge. What a load of crap, they thoroughly deserved it. Do we now say that Liverpool were lucky coz the rest of the league were rammel. No, they have thoroughly deserved it and so did Leicester.
Any other cubs taken 4 points of Liverpool this season?

Agreed I’m not taking anything away from Liverpool,they’ve obviously been the better team.
But a lot of games they’ve just got over the line.
Any Liverpool fan without rose tinted specs would surely agree that this isn’t a great team.

We were very good at the start of the season.
Not so great after Xmas.
We won a few games by the odd goal when not playing well ( who hasn’t ) when winning .?
But atm we look very nervous at the back and toothless upfront.
But you can only beat what’s in front of you .
PL teams doing ok in the CL so they can’t be that bad.
Just winning games when you aren't playing well is what you need to win the league. No team sails through playing beautiful football all season. You are bound to hit a wall at some point. Liverpool are hitting theirs at the moment.
Not their fault if no one is taking advantage of their slip ups, it how it goes.
I agree, they won't go down as one of the great league winners but the records will still show them as champions, sadly

who do you really rate as top draw in the CL?
PSG maybe.
Real & Barca aren’t at the levels we’ve seen them at in the past,same for Bayern & any of the Italian teams.

Amazing how the league is poor now when it wasn’t the last 4 seasons
We can reach 94 points
We have lost twice in the season so far
All this “poor league” is nonsense and standard to try and demean when a rival wins

Arsenal are going to finish 2nd & they’re bang average compared to Arsenal teams of the past.

Think we have been spoilt in the past.
I agree the standards have dropped.
PSG were a decent side but only scored one goal in two games .
There not prime Barca.
Think Real will step up though they have been lucky up to now.
Don’t watch much foreign footy can’t stand the cheating and diving .

Over the last 4/5 seasons the number of points to win the title has been around 90
20/21 - City got 86
Leicester was 81
United in 2011 was 80
Through the 90’s it was 75 points
People look at the table and see City struggling and immediately say it’s a poor league because they have dropped
But what’s happened it other teams have stepped up - Forest , Villa , Bournemouth etc have really stepped up their quality and are producing results with very good football
Because its not city or Chelsea or even United - the statement is all about the quality being poor

It’s like that little runt Owens comment to VVD - is it disappointing that it’s going to “only” the league title this season - since when has it ever seen to be disappointing to win the league , there is no “only”
A very rare thing for a Fulham fan to have something to savour. 50 years of thin and thinner with the odd moment of hope and we all know its the hope that kills you in the endOk enjoy.
