What a ball that was - so unlucky
He’s been just as bad for both teams.seems mad how the ref has a stinker EVERY Liverpool game.
Why are you moaning on about a ref in a game you haven’t watchedJust imagine how bad he'd be if Liverpool were losing
Because you have been a star and kept us all up to date. If it wasn't for that, I wouldn't have a clueWhy are you moaning on about a ref in a game you haven’t watched![]()
Robbie Savage. What more can one expect. Mind you, the main commentator is like a TalkSport host, seems to want to spark a lot of needless debates.
It was either a city goal or penalty to City .. weird decisionThat is odd one to call for Haaland.
Hall has been good tonight.
Has kept Salah reasonably quiet but Mcoist will still give him MOM![]()
Lewis Hall does look a very talented playerFairly routine victory for Liverpool, never really had to get out of second gear. Newcastle toothless and never looked like breaching the Liverpool defence despite having plenty of possession in the 2nd half. Too many half hearted under hit and misplaced passes going forward....you cant do that against Liverpool as they break so quickly....as per the second goal.
Only Lewis Hall emerged with much credit, Guimares and Tonali somewhat anonymous allowing Liverpools midfield to dictate matters.
Hopefully a bit more life in the Cup game on Sunday.
Just got in from the match. I've said before. Onana just isn't good enough, ok as a shot stopper but anything else, useless. Dalot was poor tonight and basically if Fernandes has an off night we're knackered because that's where all the playmaking originates. But still keep going and hopefully the good times will be back but they're a long way away on tonight's performanceSavage is bad. The main commentator was awful. Absolutely woeful.
Went on and on about what Garnacho would have done had he stayed on, totally disregarding the fact United were down to ten with a left wing back having been sent off. Also totally oblivious of the fact that United played the last fifty minutes with ten men.
And the pronunciations? What had he been drinking? How long has Dalot been pronounced Daloooort? And the mess he was making of Hojlund and Zirkzee. We can just thank our lucky stars that Kelechi Iheanacho isn’t a United player.
In other news, I reckon United are staying up now.

Reminds me of the time i was at my daughters watching an England game.I kind of get what you're saying. Even from my armchair I'm not even thinking of popping on here to comment on the match I'm watching. Weird. Some seem to have a conversation with themselves!

Any replacement bought has to be better than the one being replaced.Absolutely agree re Onana. A decent shot stopper, and a keeper I had started to warm to, but he has reverted to type in recent months. Way too many mistakes in him.
In a side which struggles for goals, we simply cannot afford to concede easy ones ourselves, and Ipswich’s first was an embarrassment. Nowhere near good enough and confirmation, if indeed any was needed, that Onana is nowhere near vocal enough, because Dorgu clearly didn’t get a shout.
A top keeper needs to be a commanding presence. As time has gone by it has become abundantly clear that Onana just isn’t that type.
